Continuing her exploration of the phenomenon of talent, through her new collection CAPSULE 2021, the designer Indra Komarova focuses on a study of the inside. It is always fun to get a glimpse of what’s going on behind the scenes, whether it is the day-to-day routine of an artist, the laboratory of a scientist, or the intricate mechanism of a complex technical machine. It raises the question – could that be the place where talent resides?
The inside of a garment is a thing of both wonder and inspiration for the designer, and her obsession has finally taken shape, as elements that would usually remain unseen in fashion materialise into cornerstones of the collection, and the challenging technical process of adapting techniques becomes a purposeful and essential component as well.
In addition to the signature cotton shirt-fabrics, this collection of TALENTED incorporates jersey of various thicknesses to marry elegance with comfort – the soft and comfortable organic cotton fleece jersey is used in dresses, French terry-tops and skirts. Unlike the technically complex and lavish cotton shirt fabric garments, the jersey line is minimalistic, characterised by sharp lines and extraordinary accents in detail.
